Wanita M. Curtis

Caribou - Wanita M. Curtis, 80, passed peacefully January 20, 2024 in Caribou with her husband of 63 years by her side. She was born April 24, 1943 in St. Francis. She married Emery Allan Curtis on April 24, 1959. Wanita worked at Mecon Manufacturing in Caribou for many years.  Wanita was loved by everyone, and will be missed by many. She will be remembered as a giving, selfless person, with a heart of gold. Wanita was surrounded by love right up until the end. Surviving in addition to her husband, Emery, of Caribou, are their children, Nathan Curtis and wife Tanya of Anchorage, Alaska, and Lynn Patrick and husband Shawn of Atmore, Alabama, grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole, Amanda, Christina, and Jessica, and many great-grandchildren. Services will be held in the spring and will be announced by the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
