Virginia Martin

CARIBOU – Virginia I. Martin, 92, died December 24, 2023 at Eagle Lake. She was born in Caribou, February 15, 1931, the daughter of Joseph and Laura (Ouellette) Caron. Virginia was employed at Cary Medical Center for over 35 years in materials management. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. Virginia was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph Martin, a son, Richard Martin, brothers, Louis Caron, Delmar Caron, Llewellyn Caron, Conrad Caron, and Patrick Caron, sisters, Bernice St. Peter, and Pearl Bouchard. She is survived by two grandchildren, Nicole and Ricky,  a sister Blanche Bouchard of Caribou, brothers, Albert Caron and wife Rose of Caribou, and Joseph Caron of Caribou, as well as many special nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, North Caribou. Spring interment will take place at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
