Velma Thibodeau

Velma B. Thibodeau, 75, died October 18, 2026 in Presque Isle. She was born in Waterville, April 6, 1951 the daughter of the late Fernand and Gilberte (Theriault) Thibodeau. Velma was a graduate of Van Buren High School and worked at Graves Shop N Save in Presque Isle for many years. Velma lived in Pennsylvania for several years. She was a member of the Columbiettes, and was an animal lover.

She is survived by two children, Kevin Butler and wife Stacy of Presque Isle, and Eric Butler and wife Trisha of Knoxville, TN, grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, Makayla and Bryce Butler all of Presque Isle, siblings, David Thibodeau and wife Linda of Terryville, CT, James Thibodeau and wife Barbara of Van Buren, and Robert Thibodeau of Bristol, CT. She was predeceased by her daughter, Anne Butler, and by siblings, Gilbert, Raymond, Daniel, Evelyn, Barbara, and Lina.

Graveside services will be held at a later date in the St. Bruno Cemetery - Van Buren. Those who wish to contribute in memory of Velma are asked to do so through the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 210 Cross Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
