She always made our house a home where all were welcomed with open arms, hugs, and kisses. We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful memories. Every time we sat down at her table we enjoyed her special foods. Some of them were graham cracker pie, chocolate balls, cinnamon rolls, dill beans, bread and butter pickles, and zucchini bread. When you came to mom’s, you would be served a seven course meal within a very short time. Every spring she put out 7 or 8 bird feeders and many times we counted as many or more than 20 birds.
