Sylvia M. Paradis

Sylvia M. Paradis, 87, died February 8, 2025 at the Maine Veterans Home in Caribou. She was born in Sheridan, July 12, 1937 the daughter of the late Percy and Meddie (Carney) Wakefield. Sylvia attended Ashland schools and on June 4, 1955 married Leo Paradis. Sylvia was a lifelong member of Parish of the Precious Blood St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic minister for many years.

Sylvia is survived by her children, Rob Paradis and wife Darlene of Perham, Ken Paradis and wife June of Sacramento, CA, and Gail Wilcox and husband Dwight of Woodland, grandsons, Jason Paradis of Perham, Keith Wilcox and Paul Wilcox both of Presque Isle, a sister, Diane Wakefield of Bucksport. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Paradis, her parents, and by two siblings, Percy Wakefield Jr. and Joyce Orfo.

Graveside services will be held June 2, 2025 at 2PM at Fairview Cemetery in Perham.
