WOODLAND- Susan Joy Belyea, 61, died June 23, 2024 at her Woodland residence following a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Caribou April 13, 1963, the daughter of the late Gary and Phyllis (Skidgel) Page. Susan loved to be in her flower gardens and growing her vegetables. She was employed by several area farmers. 15 years ago, she met the love of her life, companion and soulmate Dan, and they were never far apart from each other. They spent those years outdoors doing what they loved together, fishing, hunting, side by side riding and spending time at the camp in Oxbow. The other love she had was her four-legged friend Molly, in which they loved going for long rides up in the North Maine Woods. Sue enjoyed spending her time also with friends and family. She is survived by Dan Elliott of Woodland, one son, Gary Belyea and wife Casey of Caribou, two sisters Michelle Cash of Woodland, and Teri Strong and husband Ron of Concord NH, two grandsons, James Belyea and wife Marjorie, and Isaiah Belyea, her mother-in-law Sally Elliott of Woodland, brother-in law and sister -in-law, Alan and Chris Elliott of Caribou, a former daughter-in-law, Kelly Gagnon of Caribou, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A private celebration of Sue’s life will be held at a later date.
