John W. Stubbs

Henry Stubbs, 26, died after a brief illness, on December 25, 2018.  He was born October 6, 1992 in Presque Isle, Maine, a son, to Ann (Gray) Stubbs and the late Herbert Stubbs. Henry, the family’s “Old Bear”, touched many lives through his short time. He taught many to appreciate the little things in life and not to sweat the small stuff. He was a crowd pleaser and a jokester. His favorite time of the year was the fall, watching the leaves fall and playing with sticks. Henry is survived by his mother, Ann Stubbs of Washburn; seven siblings, Katie Stubbs of Fort Kent, Annie Stubbs of Bangor, Daniel Stubbs of Portland, Timothy Stubbs and his children, Ivan and Nathaniel of Washburn, Aaron Stubbs of Brunswick, Sarah Stubbs of Danforth, and Naiomi Stubbs of Lewiston. Henry is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Henry was predeceased by his father, Herbert Stubbs, a Vietnam Veteran, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Green Ridge Cemetery in Caribou.
