Caribou – Luke C. Smart, 23, died unexpectedly October 26, 2019, at his Caribou residence, as a result of an undetermined medical condition. He was born in Caribou, July 15, 1996, the son of Raymond and Diane (Bellefleur) Smart. Luke attended the Caribou schools and was a graduate of OTC Presque Isle. Luke loved his family and friends, he loved making sure the house was clean and dinner was ready for his mom and sister while they were at work or school. Luke enjoyed playing sports and loved his Boston Red Sox. He was always up for a BB gun war. Luke was always the life of the party and enjoyed family get-togethers where he could make anyone laugh. He is survived by his mother Diane of Caribou, his father Raymond of Mars Hill, two brothers Trenton and Trevor Seigle of North Caroline, one sister Samantha Smart of Caribou. He is also survived by many special aunts, uncles and cousins. Luke was predeceased by his grandparents, William and Geraldine Bellefleur, Theresa and Cyrille Smart, and aunt Rita Smart and uncle Tommy Smart. Friends may visit with the family Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Caribou from 10 a.m. until the time of service which will be held at 11:00 a.m.
