CARIBOU and PRESQUE ISLE – Sharon A. Fitzsimmons, 64, passed away unexpectedly January 10, 2017 at her Caribou residence. She was born in Presque Isle, May 2, 1952, the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Morris) Cote. She was a graduate of Presque Isle High School, attended the Presque Isle Wesleyan Church and was a member of the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her son, Brian Rouse, three brothers, Paul Cote of Mars Hill, Bill Cote of Westbrook, and Dalbert Cote of Caribou, three sisters, Nancey Charette of Ashland, Maxine Dempster of Presque Isle, and Jo Ann Wilkinson of AZ, two granddaughters, Autumn Gray and Allison Rouse, several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Southside Cemetery, Mapleton.
