Scott Searles 62, died unexpectedly May 11, 2025 at a Bangor hosptial. He was born in Caribou, December 20, 1962 the son of Wendell and Lily (St. John) Searles. Scott was a 1981 graduate of Caribou High School, the University of Maine and of Northern Maine Community College. He was employed at Plourde Furniture in Caribou for over 20years, and then for over 26 years was an administrator for the Central Aroostook Association, where he was highly respected and loved by the adult association he served. He had a passion for music and art, and you would often see him with a guitar in hand. Scott loved motorcycle riding, adventures in Canada, cooking, and will be remembered by many as a sharp dressed man. Surviving in addition to his father of Caribou are his fiancée Katie Endy of Presque Isle, one daughter, Lindsay Belanger and husband Bill of Ottawa, Canada, one brother, Mike Searles and fiancée Sharon Belyea of Caribou, a sister, Kelli Searles-Allen and husband David of Nashua, NH, a nephew, Adam Searles of Wilton, NH, 3 grandchildren, Seth, Grant, and Alex Belanger and a lifelong best friend, Darryl Bouchard of Woodland. At Scott’s request, no services will be held at this time. Private family services will be held at a later date.
