WOODLAND – Scott Allen Greenier, 64, died November 19, 2023 in Portland following an illness. He was born in Caribou, October 4, 1959 the son of the late Vernal and Barbara (Bourgoine) Greenier. Scott was a 1978 graduate of Caribou High School. He enjoyed muscle cars. He was employed as a meat cutter for area grocery stores including Sleeper’s for 20 years, Fort Fairfield IGA and owning and operating his own shop – Scott’s Meat Shop in Woodland. Scott was a homebody who enjoyed working around his home to keep things looking good, especially his lawn and flowers. When he did venture out, it was usually on his Harley. He attended the First Baptist Church of Woodland. Scott will be remembered for his work ethic, a trait that was the highest of importance to him, and one that he instilled in his children. He is survived by his two children, Danielle Greenier of Woodland and Dylan Greenier and wife Kaitlyn of Virginia, his grandson, Mason Greenier, siblings, Cathy Preston of NY, Sheila Belanger and husband Greg of Caribou, Judy Burby and husband Scott of MA, Danny Greenier, Tim Greenier, Peter Greenier and wife Diane all of Caribou, and his significant other, Barbara Walker of Woodland. Friends and family may call Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Woodland First Baptist Church, from 11 a.m. until time of services which will be held at 1 p.m. A small get together will be held after the service.
