Sandra J. Cochran

November 17, 1953 — March 25, 2020

CARIBOU – Sandra J. Cochran, 66, passed away March 25, 2020 in Bangor after a short illness. She was born in Caribou, November 17, 1953 the daughter of Leonard and Annette (Nadeau) Lagasse. Sandra was a graduate of Caribou High School, and had several jobs over the years that she really enjoyed. Sandra currently worked at DFAS, and will be missed by many of her coworkers that she quickly became friends with during her time there. She also worked at the Aroostook Regional Transportation System for a number of years, another job she loved. The time that Sandra treasured most was any time shared with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren who were the lights of her life. She always looked forward to gatherings with her many family members and friends. All will remember her wonderful cooking, especially her lasagna and spaghetti. She was a loving and devoted, wife, mother, sister, and Nana.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Jeff Cochran, her son, Chad Cochran and wife Erika, her beloved grandchildren, Bailey and Chase, all of Caribou, a brother, Jeffrey Lagasse and wife Lisa, sisters, Gloria Katkavich, Rena Lagasse, Debbie Mahar, Karen Lagasse and significant other Gary, and Denise Stetkis and husband Joel, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Pamela Morin, Carol Townsend, Marlene Lagasse, and Becky Holmes. Private family services will be held later in the spring.
