RANDOLPH and CARIBOU- Shaolan Liu Smith, 57, died January 11, 2024 after a long battle with ALS. She was born in Guangdong, China, May 15, 1967 the daughter of Mubo Liu and Shuzhen (Wang). In the spring of 2006 she immigrated to the United States, becoming naturalized September 21, 2012. Shaolan enjoyed gardening, painting, cooking and traveling. She was a beloved wife and mother, who was especially proud of her son and his Air Force accomplishments. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, John P. Smith of Randolph, her son, Hongtao Wu, of Scott AFB, Illinois, and her granddaughter, Victoria.
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 12PM until time of services which will be held at 1PM from the chapel of the funeral home with Carla Picard officiating.
