Ryan J. Pinette

August 21, 1966 — September 22, 2021

CARIBOU – Ryan J. Pinette, 55, passed away September 22, 2021 at Cary Medical Center the result of COPD and COVID-19. He was born on August 21, 1966 in Fort Kent the son of Norman and Arlene (Pelletier) Pinette. Ryan was a graduate of Fort Kent High School, and then entered the United States Navy serving proudly. Following his Naval service, he worked as a carpenter and woodsman selling firewood, and also worked on area potato farms. He is survived by his loving wife, Rena Sue (Patterson) Pinette, who he always called his angel, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Calvin and Lise Pinette, Peter Pinette, Leland and Patricia Pinette, Thomas Pinette, Marcus and Robin Pinette, and his sisters and brother-in-law, Brenda and Fiabien Pelletier, and Patty Daigle. He also leaves behind a special step-great-grandson, Zyen Provost, and a special nephew, Tyler Pinette and wife Andrea, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and last but not least their dog Bandit. He was predeceased by his parents, a sister-in-law, Sandra Pinette, and his parents-in-law, Fred and Rilla Patterson Sr. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, family and friends for his big and kind heart. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and  staff at Cary Medical Center, especially the ICU nurse Sue who went above and beyond when Ryan’s family and wife could not be with him during the final days of his life.  Their kindness and compassion will be remembered always. Ryan’s one last message is: Please get vaccinated!

Graveside services with military honors will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at 1pm at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery with Pastor Matt Palmer officiating.
