New Limerick – Roland G. Guerrette, 80, died on March 3, 2024 after a period of declining health. He was born in Presque Isle, April 30, 1943 the son of Lawrence and Fern (Bushey) Guerrette. Roland graduated from Caribou High School with the class of 1961. He served in the United States Army, and was stationed in Korea and Vietnam. He spent his entire life working for Holtra Chem in Orrington and retired to the home he had built on Drews Lake. He loved fishing, auctions and trips to the casino.

Roland was predeceased by his parents, his son Terry Guerrette, sisters, Brenda Sperry and Susan Juliano. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Olga (Yevushenko) Guerrette, daughter Robin of Massachusetts, granddaughter Jessica Chenette (Tom), and great-granddaughter Ariana of Montpelier, VT. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Thompson (Galen) of Caribou, his brother-in-law, Steve Sperry, several nieces and nephews, and his favorite Uncle Gerald Bushey of Ashland.

Spring interment with military honors will be held at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
