Robert Phillip Dube, 77, passed away July 20, 2011 at a Bangor health care facility following a long battle with Alzheimers. He was born at Caribou, June 16, 1934, the son of Charles and Marie (Nadeau) Dube Sr. Robert was member of the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was employed at Birdseye Division of General Foods for many years. Robert enjoyed taxidermy, hunting, fishing and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Loretta (Dickinson) Dube of Cherryfield; son Michael and his wife Karen of Whitefield; daughter Roberta and her companion Nick of Alabama; son Jeffery and his wife Kim of Milbridge; one sister Grace (Dube) Gagnon of Caribou and his mother-in-law Rosella Dickinson of Van Buren; grandchildren Brian Dube and his wife Kristy, Lynsie, Nichole, Andrew, Jake and Josh Dube. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Raymond Dube and Charlie Dube Jr. and a sister Sylvia Autery. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir St., Caribou Monday July 25, 2011 from 10amuntil time of services, which will be held 12noon from the chapel of the funeral home.
