Rhonda Jean Higgins

Rhonda Jean Higgins, 73, died October 31, 2024 following a brief illness. She was born in Caribou, July 30, 1951 the daughter of the late Erwin and E. Marie "Peggy" (Peers) Bengtson. Rhonda was a graduate of Caribou High School, and worked at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston as a registered nurse for many years. She is survived by her husband, Howard Higgins, sons, Jason Crocker, and Justin Crocker and his wife Brandi, all of Caribou, a step-son, Chris Higgins and wife Jenny of Ellsworth, a brother, Wayne Bengtson and wife Linda of China, and Rodney Bengtson and wife Michelle of Berlin, NH, 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Bob Bengtson. Private family services will be held at a later date.
