Raymond R. Hooey Sr.

Raymond R. Hooey died February 12, 2026 at Caribou. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts July 21, 1931, the son of the late Henry and Ethel (Loveland) Hooey. He graduated from high school and enlisted in the US Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a metal finisher in Connecticut for many years. He is survived by his second wife Gladys (Brissette) Hooey of Caribou, children; Raymond Hooey and wife Patricia of Caribou, Karen Michaud and husband James of Presque Isle, Cathy Hooey and John Bragdon both of Caribou. His brother in law and sister in law Bob and Aline Brissette of Caribou. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hooey was predeceased by his first wife, Martina (Lagassie) Hooey in 1979, two daughters, Gail Fuhrmann and Lisa Suire, and grandchildren, James Michaud Jr., Francis Fuhrmann Jr. and Stephen Galvin. There will be no services at this time.
