Randy Stephen Brooks was born on November 26, 1959 and passed away peacefully on Friday, June 11, 2021 at the home of his brother Roger L. Brooks Jr. and wife, Toni Brooks in Maine. Randy grew up in Lebanon, NH son of Roger L. Brooks SR. and Margaret (Sunn) Marcotte. He was known to always have a smile on his face, laughing and making jokes. He enjoyed cooking and spent his adult life cooking throughout places in the Upper Valley and before retiring worked at the CO-OP Kitchen in Wilder, VT. After retiring he moved to North Carolina, where he lived for 6 years. Randy lived his life to the fullest through simple pleasures of hunting, fishing, camping, and being surrounded by family and friends. Randy raised his child, Roger E. Brooks alone, and took much pride in being a single father. Roger and his partner Courtney Carter made Randy a grandfather, making his last year of his life the best he could have asked for. Randy was predeceased by his father Roger L. Brooks SR, his mother Margaret (Sunn) Marcotte. He is survived by his son, Roger E. Brooks and his partner Courtney Carter, his grandson Louis Stephen-Barry Brooks. His stepfather, Dennis Marcotte. His sisters; Dianne and Paul Grant, Claudia and Daniel Grant, Robin and Cliff Lambert. His brothers; David Moodie, Roger and Toni Brooks, Keith and Susie Marcotte, Kevin and Jacquelyn Marcotte, and Dana and Shelley Marcotte. Randy also left several nieces and nephews, many other family members, and many friends. Randy will be missed by his stepchildren, Peter Ryback, Chrissy Ockington, Becky White, and Kimmi Jean Lary. Services will be held June 28th, at the Upper Valley Cemetery at 11:00am, and a celebration of his life at 362 Methodist Hill Rd, Enfield, NH 03748. All his family and friends are welcome.
