WASHBURN – Randy E. Belmain, 65, died June 26, 2023 at his Washburn residence following a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born in Caribou, March 10, 1958 the son of the late Phillip Sr. and Ethel (Doody) Belmain. Randy was predeceased by his older brother Phillip Belmain Jr. and Mary Undergust. Randy was a graduate of Washburn High School, and a graduate of Northern Maine Technical College with a degree in Auto Body/Auto Mechanics. Randy lived in Tacoma Washington for several years and worked as a welder for a Shipyard. After returning to Maine in 1993 Randy was self-employed doing autobody restoration and auto mechanics. Randy then worked at McCain Foods in Washburn for several years.
His favorite thing was to watch NASCAR with his family. Randy had a soft spot when it came to animals, he would never turn away a stray in need.
He is survived by two brothers, Rodney and Steven Belmain both of Washburn, and two sisters, Ellen Bryson of Georgia and Heather Belmain of Presque Isle. The family will hold a memorial at a later date.
