LIMESTONE – Roger D. Blackwell, 64, died September 9, 2021 in Caribou. He was born in Limestone, January 20, 1957 the son of Henry Jr. and Esther (Thompson) Blackwell. Roger worked on the Loring Air Force Base until its closure, and then as a general and sub-contractor, doing drywalling, painting and other construction jobs. Roger is survived by his two daughters, Nenita and Tabatha Blackwell of Texas, his brother, Dwayne Blackwell of Limestone, three sisters, Diane Larkin, Debbie Appleton, and Julie Bloom, as well as two grandchildren, Damian and Hailee. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a sister, Leila. Due to concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, private services will be held by the family.
