WASHBURN – Lois Pike, 75, passed away surrounded by family on October 4, 2022 in Caribou. She was born in Washburn, August 14, 1947 the daughter of Perley and Barbara (Baker) Drost. Lois worked for many years for the Washburn school district as a custodian and bus driver. She enjoyed getting to know both students and staff through the years and will be missed by many. In her later years she worked for the Central Aroostook Humane Society, a job she enjoyed greatly due to her love for animals. She is survived by two children, William “Billy” Pike, Jr, and wife Joanna of Washburn, and Bobbi Jo Prichard and husband Ernie of Eden, NC, a sister, JoAnne Hewitt and husband Roger of Wade, 6 grandchildren, Josh Pike, Kristi Pike, Kayla Pike, Seth Bennett and wife Ashley, Jada Prichard, and Cole Prichard, and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Lois was predeceased by her husband and father of her children, William Pike Sr., a daughter, Barbie Pike, and a brother, Douglas Drost, and by her companion of over 30 years – her bird   Tookie. Graveside services will be held at 4PM on Friday, October 7, 2022 at the Hillside Grove Cemetery – Crouseville, with Rev. Bruce Blakney officiating.
