Glenda Rae Perry

Glenda Rae Perry, 64 of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away at  Bravera Health, Tuesday, July 19,2022.  She was born in Caribou, July 27, 1957.  She graduated from Belfast High School class of 1975. Glenda loved her family, crafts, animals and the outdoors, especially the water.

Glenda seemed to be a jack of all trades, she worked in insurance, restaurant management, even for the Sherriff dept, she dabbled a bit in pottery and cake decorating. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild with everything she had. She had a way to make friends feel like family.

Glenda was predeceased by her father and mother Raymond and Patricia (Damboise) Couture, Father of her children her high school love, Gary Olson Sr. whom she wed August of 1975 and remained close friends even after their divorce, and her husband Thomas Perry III whom she wed April of 1994. She leaves behind her two children, son Gary (Jay) Olson Jr. and wife Jennifer of Caribou, and son Shawn Olson and wife Michelle, of Woodlawn, Tennessee. Brother Robert Couture and Lucinda, of Woodland, sister Beverly Jo and husband James West, of Davenport, Florida. 4 grandchildren; Jasmine and Daniel “DJ” Olson of Caribou, and Dylan and Tori Olson of Woodlawn, Tennessee.  One great grandchild, Delilah Olson, many nieces and nephews, and Richard Shroads, 16-year companion and caregiver.

Graveside services will be held August 16, 2022 at 1PM at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Lombard Road, Caribou, where Glenda will eternally rest with her husband Thomas III.
