Penny L. Jackson

Penny Lee Jackson 53, died November 2, 2026 following a period of declining health at the Aroostook House of Comfort. She was born October 30,1973 in Caribou, the daughter of Reginald Barnes and Dianne Dionne. Penny was a graduate of Limestone High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from University of Maine at Presque Isle. She went on to earn her Master Degree in Special Education from the University of Maine. She was employed in the Caribou School System for many years. She Married Scott Jackson on August 31, 1996, and together they shared over thirty years of marriage. Penny was a communicant of the Holy Rosary Church for many years. Penny had a love for the outdoors and was an avid Bingo player. She and Scott would enjoy many hours riding in their UTV. Penny would also love to ride in the golf cart with her husband complementing him on his golf game.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Scott, are her son Cole Jackson and partner Gracie Theriault of Caribou. Her father Reginald of Livermore Falls, one brother Ryan and sisters April, Alecia and Brittany, her aunts and uncles, who were like brothers and sisters to Penny, and many cousins. Penny was predeceased by her mother Dianne Dionne, and by her grandparent’s Albert Dionne Sr. and Alfreda Dionne, who raised her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated  November 6, 2026 at 11AM at the Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Church. Interment will be at the New Holy Rosary Cemetery. Those who wish to contribute in memory of Penny are asked to do so through the Central Aroostook Humane Society, 210 Cross Street, Presque Isle, Maine 04769.
