Paul R. Akerson Sr.

With family & loved ones by his side, Paul R. Akerson Sr., passed away June 6th, 2021 at Cary Medical Center in Caribou, ME, after suffering a massive stroke on June 3. He was born in Caribou, June 3, 1960 the son of Norman and Shirley (McLaughlin) Akerson. Paul loved being around his family and friends, cooking, and being outdoors. He was free spirited, and lived life to the fullest.  He is survived by his sister, Roxie Martin, brother Kirk Akerson, children Haley, Paula Sue, Paul, Justin, Beatrice & Tavia Akerson, 8 grandchildren, step granddaughter, Aunah, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, two siblings, Norman Akerson Jr., and Beatrice Wilkins. A celebration of life will be hosted but the family on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 2pm in Caribou, ME.
