Stockholm – Oliver Ames Olson, 87, died December 3, 2024 at Bangor. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, September 23, 1937, the son of the late Archie and Hazel (Briggs) Olson. Mr. Olson was employed by the Ames Department stores for many years. He is survived by his siblings, Andy Olson and wife Rita of Madawaska Lake, Richard Olson of Costa Rica, and Karen Wilson and husband Doug of Texas, several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the New Sweden Cemetery. Arrangements by Mockler Funeral Home. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com
