Odette T. Pelletier

September 22, 1959 — February 10, 2024

Caribou - Odette T. Pelletier, 64, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 10, 2024 in Caribou after a long illness. She was born in Fort Kent, September 22, 1959 the daughter of Ronald and Pearl Pelletier. Odette was a graduate of Fort Kent Community High School, and then attended the University of Maine at Fort Kent. On December 28, 1984 she married Darryl J. Pelletier, and together they raised a family that became her world. Odette was a devoted wife and mother who had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. The simplest pleasures in life brought joy to Odette. She was an amazing cook who loved to spend time in the kitchen. Odette’s strong and unwavering faith in her Lord and Savior was fundamental in her life. Her infectious laugh, fiery competitive nature and jokester ways will be remembered by many. She loved animals both big and small. Odette had a heart of gold and was a peacemaker through and through, who would always put the needs of others before her own. 

Odette is survived by her husband, Darryl, of Caribou, two children, Amanda Bamford and husband Jared of Falmouth, and Ellis Pelletier and wife Demarre of Hermon, her grandson, Silas Pelletier of Hermon, brothers, Dan Pelletier and wife Pam of Jefferson, Sam Pelletier and wife Susan of Wells, Romey Pelletier and wife Sarah of San Antonio, TX, Bruce Pelletier and wife Jackie of Windham, Maynard Pelletier and wife Lorrie of Hampden, sisters, Deana Pelletier and husband Claude of Flower Mound, TX, and Leueen Bostick of Headland, AL, many special nieces and nephews. Odette was predeceased by her parents, a son, Ethan Pelletier and a daughter, Leah Pelletier.  

A celebration of Odette’s life will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 1PM at the New Song Church, 36 Chandler Road, Presque Isle, with Pastors Granville Jr. and Janice Lamb officiating. Private family interment will take place at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
