Norman J Thibodeau

CARIBOU – Norman J. Thibodeau, 89, died February 21, 2023 at Caribou. He was born in Augusta, July 14, 1933 the son of the late Napoleon and Bertha (Viel) Thibodeau. He was a graduate of Fort Kent High School, and served in the Maine Army National Guard for several years. Norman married Simon Ouellette on August 9, 1955 and she predeceased him in 2021 after nearly 65 years of marriage. Norman was employed at Cyr Brothers as well as Paradis IGA in Caribou for many years. Mr. Thibodeau was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, life member of Sainte-Anne-Du-Beaupre Catholic Church in Quebec, and was also a life member of the third and fourth degree Knights of Columbus Council 1870. He was predeceased by three siblings, Leon Thibodeau, Odette Thibodeau and Florence Daigle. Norman and Simon loved all of their nieces and nephews, as well as their eight God-children.

Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, on Wednesday March 1, 2023 from 10AM until time of services which will be held at 11AM at the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
