Wesley Nelson

MILBRIDGE and PERHAM – Wesley Nelson, 83, passed away October 12, 2018 in Milbridge. He was born June 4, 1935 in Perham, the son of the late Theodore and Mable (Akerson) Nelson. He was a resident of Milbridge for many years, but always enjoyed returning home to the County for holidays and family gatherings. Wesley especially liked going for rides with his family - the Allagash and Grand Falls being two of his favorite destinations. Wesley was predeceased by three sisters, Lorraine, Shirley, and Audrey, and two brothers, Kenneth and Richard. He is survived by two sisters, Sylvia Wardwell and husband Rodney Sr. of Perham , and Phyllis Hanson and husband William of Yerington, NV, many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 12 noon until time of services, which will be held at 1pm with Rev. Roger Jewell officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Perham.
