CARIBOU - Michele Lynn Theriault, 59, passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2023 at her Caribou residence. She was born in Caribou, on February 12, 1964. Michele was a graduate of Caribou High School, and was employed as a bookkeeper for Caribou Ford, working for Steve Scott, Bruce Pelletier, Rene Nicole, and then Neal Griffeth, before moving to R.L. Todd where she was currently employed. Michele loved spring when it was time to plant her flowers, which she lovingly tended throughout the season. She is survived by her mother, Barbara A. (Grant) Smith of Presque Isle, her son, Tyler Theriault and wife Lindsey of Stockholm, a daughter, Laura Woodward and fiancé Ryan Beal of Cherryfield, her beloved granddaughters who were the light of her life, Elsie and Anastasia Theriault of Stockholm, a sister, Lacie Philbrick-Turnbull and husband Seth, special nieces, Isabelle and Hattie, all of Brunswick, GA, and her very special and much loved cat, Missy. Michele was predeceased by her father, Eugene “Jim” Philbrick, and her step-father, Darrel Smith. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 12PM until time of services which will be held at 2PM from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Ron Rosser officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.  Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Michele are asked to consider donating to either the Halfway Home Pet Rescue, PO Box 488, Caribou, ME 04736 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
