Michael Joseph Bouchard

B.M.C. Michael J. Bouchard, U.S.N. Ret., 73, died September 12, 2024 following a period of declining health in Caribou. He was born in Caribou, June 2, 1951 the son of Joseph and Ruby (Magaw) Bouchard. Michael was a graduate of Caribou High School, and then enlisted with the United States Navy. Michael proudly served in the United States Navy for 22 years, primarily working on tug boats. After his military service he returned home to Caribou where he worked at Caribou High School, and then worked at Caribou One-Stop. Michael enjoyed motorcycles, snowmobiles, bass fishing, and was an avid Nascar fan.

He is survived by his brother, Gregory Bouchard of Dover-Foxcroft, an adopted daughter, Dona, a step-son, Cecil, and his partner Rose. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Ruby Mullen and Joseph Bouchard Jr., and a grandchild.

Graveside services with military honors will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery at 12 Noon.
