Our little girl, Miah Josephine decided she was ready to meet us on June 14th. It was 14 weeks and three days early. She was one pound and 9.4 inches tall. She was ready to fight and take on this big world. Her eyes were wide open and her little hands and feet were moving all over. She was so strong. She exceeded everyone’s expectations, except ours, we knew she was strong. She had the best 11 days. She loved being hand swaddled and holding our fingers. She loved to have her eyes open and follow our voices wherever she heard them. Her little hands and feet moving around every chance she got! June 18th was a big day. The day momma got to hold her for the first time. One of the greatest moments ever. She got to celebrate momma’s birthday and Father’s Day with us. She just had a way of knowing things. June 24th was another big day. Momma got to hold her and daddy got to hold her too! Moments we will cherish forever. She woke up on June 25th knowing it was a big day. Stronger than ever! She held everyone’s fingers and got hand swaddled all day. She loved meeting her big sister, Lyla. Lyla got to hold her hand and hand swaddle her all day. She had the best day surrounded by family. That evening she decided it was time to be the one to look over all of us. She passed peacefully in momma’s arms. No tubes, no wires, just Miah, Momma, and Daddy. We love her so much.

Miah Josephine is survived by her loving momma and daddy, Haley and Jeremiah, big sister, Lyla, loving pets, Murph, Macy, and Eleanor, Grammy Wendy, Grampy Lee, Grammy Gail, Grampy Jeff, and so many other loving friends and family. She will always be in our hearts. Fly high our little angel Miah.
