Melvina M. Godin

Melvina M. Godin, 86, went home to be with her lord, May 30, 2025 at her Caribou residence. She was born in St. Anne, New Brunswick, Canada, July 4, 1938 the daughter of the late Maxime and Helene (Clavette) Devost. She married Armand Godin, Sr. on June 13, 1955, and he predeceased her in 2019. Melvina was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be fondly remembered for her delicious ployes. She was a quiet and shy lady, but was always quick with a smile. She is survived by her sons, Adrien Godin and wife Nancy, Armand Godin Jr., Robert Godin and wife Connie, and Steven Godin all of Caribou, one sister, Regina Godin, twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Godin was predeceased by her husband. Daughters in Law, Tamsey Godin and Carolyn Godin,17 siblings, and a grandson Troy Godin. Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, Friday, June 6, 2025 from 1PM until time of services which will be held at 2PM from the chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Michael Hood officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Holy Rosary Cemetery.
