Brian J. Maynard

Caribou-Brian Jacob Maynard, 28 passed away unexpectedly May 9, 2021 at Caribou. Brian was a 2011 graduate of Presque Isle High School and attended Northern Maine Community College for a short time. While academics was not his passion, he relished the friends he made there. A fun loving and curious child, Brian never seemed to fear anything. Family was a cornerstone of his childhood, playing with his cousins after dinner at his mother’s parents’ home, or spending time on his father’s family farm. A perfect day for Brian would be attending a Boston Red Sox game, facing down the green monster, pizza for dinner and a victorious night of video games. He also enjoyed the outdoors through his four-wheeler and disc golf. His pleasures were simple but his heart was complex. Brian’s family will celebrate his life Saturday May 15, 2021 from 2-4 pm at his mothers’ home, Becky Bell, 4 Skyway Drive, Presque Isle. Friends and family are welcome to share their memories and love for this man, son and friend. Brian is survived by his parents, Becky Bell and Martin Maynard, his brother Tyler Maynard, grandmothers, Gerri Jones, and Natalie Maynard. His son, Raefer Maynard. Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Brian was predeceased by his grandfathers Harold Jones Jr., and Alton Maynard.
