Mary A. Flaherty

Mary Ann Flaherty, 56 died unexpectedly September 13, 2026 at her Limestone residence. She was born in Caribou, February 28, 1970 the daughter of Warren and Priscilla “Pat” (Thomas) Dobson. Mary was a 1988 graduate of Caribou High School, and earned an associate’s degree in accounting. Mary was co-owner of IRC Welding, where she did a variety of tasks all while keeping her home running. Mary enjoyed taking trips, especially to the ocean where she was very much at peace. She also was a big animal lover – especially of dogs.

Mary is survived by her son, Milo Flaherty of Woodland, her longtime partner, Jason Reitmeyer of Limestone, brothers, Peter Dobson and wife Vanessa of Caribou, and Paul Dobson and wife Pam of Greenbush, several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Mary was predeceased by her parents. Private family services will be held at a later date. Those who wish to contribute in memory of Mary are asked to do so through the family's GoFundMe.
