Mark Edward Michaud

Presque Isle and Fort Fairfield - Mark Edward Michaud, 60, departed from this life, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in Caribou. He was born December 3, 1963 in Presque Isle, Maine, the son of Roger and Connie Michaud. Mark was a devoted family man, who enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing with his father and sons. For many years Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Birch Haven Campground. Mark was a prankster, who never missed a good opportunity for a laugh. His family and friends were never surprised by his shenanigans, always laughing at the crazy pranks he would pull.  

Mark followed his father’s footsteps and served his community as a deputy sheriff. Mark then spent most of his life as a truck driver, hauling everything from gravel to french fries to fuel. Mark is survived by his wife of 40 years, Bella (Dubois) Michaud; his son Daniel Michaud, and wife Stacey; his son Heath Michaud; his two sweet and loving grandchildren, Vivien and Ellias; his mother Connie Michaud; his brother Dale Michaud and wife Tracy; his sister Robin Crone and husband Richard; his brother Brian Michaud and wife Kerry; sister-in-law Rose Anne Walker; brother-in-law Albert (Coun) Dubois and wife Ginnie; brother-in-law Silvio (Billy) Dubois and wife Maria; sister-in-law Nora Saucier; sister-in-law Annette Hull and husband Tom; sister-in-law Violla (Vi) Ricker and husband Kevin; brother-in-law Herman Dubois and wife Pam; brother-in-law Carl Dubois and wife Laura; brother-in law Ned Dubois and wife Jenn; and many nieces and nephews.

Mark is predeceased by his father and best friend Roger Michaud; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Fred and Lenore Dubois; and brothers-in-law Leo, Andrew, and Maynard Dubois.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 1PM until time of services which will be held at 3PM. Interment will follow at the Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. A reception of friends and family will be at the Sargent Family Community Center beginning at 5PM.
