Marc R. Ouellette

Marc R. Ouellette, 56, passed away March 23, 2026 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA following a brief illness. He was born in Caribou, October 7, 1969, the son of Ronald and Bernadette (Levesque) Ouellette. Marc was a graduate of Caribou High School and attended college in Augusta and Bangor. Marc lived for many years in San Francisco, California; a city he truly loved. He then lived for over 20 years in Chicago, Illinois working as a prep chef in high end restaurants. Marc was a quiet man with a creative side. He enjoyed writing poetry and had a passion for music.

He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Bernadette, both of Caribou, one brother, Kerby Ouellette and partner Marilyn Saucier of Lewiston. He is also survived by cousins who were more like a sister and brother to him, Lise and Joseph Carter, Joseph's fiancée Erica, and cousins, Denise, Michelle, Paul and Marc Levesque, Ronnie and Jeff Ouellette, and Christine McLean, his aunts, Huguette Levesque, Terry Ouellette, Nona Carter and his uncle Bearce Carter. Marc was predeceased by his brother, Jason Ouellette, grandparents, Leola and Olivier Ouellette, Camille and Madeleine Levesque, and by uncles, Herman Levesque, Vernon Ouellette, and Gary Ouellette.

Funeral services will be held in the summer at a date and time to be announced by the Mockler Funeral Home.
