It is with great sadness that the family of Lyman Raymond Messer, 86 announce his passing June 10, 2025 at Caribou. Lyman will be lovingly remembered by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lyman was born February 5, 1939 in Hartford, Connecticut the son of the late Albert and Mary Messer. He was a graduate of Houlton High School and later served 3 years as an aircraft mechanic in the US Navy. Lyman worked security/maintenance at Cary Medical Center for 10 years. While at Cary he enjoyed getting to know the staff and was always happy to lend a hand even if it was shoveling snow off the walkways. A service will be held 12:00 p.m.Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Fairmount Cemetery 174 Main Street, Presque Isle.
