Caribou - Lorraine O. Hemberg, 91, wife of the late Russell Hemberg, passed away June 10, 2020 at the Aroostook House of Comfort, following a period of declining health due to multiple myeloma. She was born in Connor, March 12, 1929 the daughter of the late Fred and Marie (LeClair) Ouellette. She was educated in the Van Buren Schools and was a 1947 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. Mrs. Hemberg was employed by Richard’s Pharmacy in Van Buren for several years and then was employed at Kiddie Korner in Caribou for many years. She married the love of her life, Russell Hemberg in 1952 and he predeceased her in 2007. Lorraine was a longtime faithful member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy Anderson and Dave Sterris of Stockholm, Peggy and Mike Bosse of Caribou, and Susan and Randy Richards of Presque Isle. Her beloved grandchildren; Jillian Adams, Adam and Rose Bosse, Scott Bosse, Meg and Todd Seehagen, Evan Richards and Hallie Bartlett, Cole Richards, and Kayla and Kennard Brown, and great-grandchildren, Molly Adams and Coltin Hopkins. Special friend, Mitch Michaud and family. Several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hemberg was predeceased by a grandson, John Anderson, her brother Hector Ouellette and wife Armance, in-laws Lawrence and Mabel Hemberg and Irene and Victor Poirier.
