Lois Anderson

Woodland - Lois A. Anderson, 88 died December 20, 2021 at Van Buren. She was born in Masardis May 11, 1933 the daughter of the late Harvey and Flora (Ells) Smith. Mrs. Anderson was a graduate of Caribou High School and she married Walter Anderson June 21, 1950. Lois loved spending time raising her family and taking care of her home and their farm in Woodland. Her best friend, Maxine Wardwell and Lois, were inseparable.  She is survived by one son, David Anderson of Caribou, one daughter and son-in-law, Theresa Kimble and Brian Anderson of Caribou, her grandchildren, Lisa Black, and husband Steve of McKinney, TX, Stephanie Anderson of Presque Isle, Chelsea Anderson of Fort Fairfield, And Mikel Anderson of Caribou, her great-grandchildren, Jordan, Chandler, Grasyn and Maddy Black of McKinney, TX, (who came in 2020 with Lois’ granddaughter for a visit and she was thrilled), Dawson and Caleb Anderson of Presque Isle, and Abigale Anderson of Fort Fairfield, Mrs. Anderson was predeceased by her husband Walter and three sisters, Marcella Cheviot, and Phyllis Wilcox, and Helen Philbrook. Per Mrs. Anderson’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. Interment will be in the New Sweden Cemetery.
