Lisa L. Nickerson Corey

Lisa Louise Nickerson Corey, 64, died on June 12, 2026 at the Aroostook House of Comfort. She was born in Presque Isle April 9, 1962 to Gerald and Patricia (Conley) Nickerson.

Lisa spent most of her years in Presque Isle and Caribou and for a time went to high school in Florida. While in Florida she was a Barbizon model. She was married for over 30 years to David Corey until his death in 2023.

She was an avid letter writer and loved corresponding with all her family. She was very creative and loved her crafts and especially making gifts to give to everyone. She enjoyed family functions and was always the life of the party.

Lisa is survived by her sister, Kathleen Nickerson of Michigan, her nephew, Matthew Buck and his wife Terri, her great niece Makena Buck, her great nephew Ryan Buck all of Michigan. She is also survived by her Aunt Debra Cole of Dover-Foxcroft and many beloved cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, Jerry and Pat Nickerson, her sister Darcey Nickerson, her brother, Scott Nickerson, and her husband, David Corey.

A graveside service will be held at the Riverside Extension Cemetery in Washburn on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 2PM.
