Leola A. Murphy

CARIBOU – Leola Ann Murphy, 67, died January 6, 2022 at Caribou. She was born in Hartford, Connecticut, March 2, 1954, the daughter of the late Leo and Patricia (Derosier) Chamberland. Mrs. Murphy was an LPN and was employed at the Med-Surg floor at TAMC, and more recently was a charge nurse at Caribou Rehab and Nursing Center. She is survived by three sons, Russell Chamberland and wife Christine Raymond of Stockholm, Toby Legassey of Caribou, and Richard Murphy and wife Elizabeth of Gray, daughter-in-heart, Patricia Perry of Virginia, one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Sherry Chamberland of Presque Isle, one sister, Sandy Gagnon of Texas, four grandchildren, Desarae and Devin Chamberland, and Trinity and Zach Murphy, two great-grandchildren, Paityn Libby and Degan Chamberland, as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Murphy was predeceased by her husband, Richard Murphy, and two grandchildren, Joshua and Austin Legassey. Private family services will be held at a later date.
