Woodland - Leo George McDougal Jr., 65, passed away peacefully August 24, 2022 at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle. He was born in Caribou, May 2, 1957 the son of Leo George and Louise (Wilcox) McDougal Sr. Leo was a graduate of Caribou High School and was employed by Lane Construction for many years, and more recently by Soderberg Construction. He married Robbin Moirs on July 7, 1990. Leo loved the outdoors and was especially proud of his 14 years of service with the Caribou Recreation Department where he groomed the snowmobile trails. Surviving in addition to his wife of over 32 years, Robbin, of Woodland, are his mother Louise of Caribou, his children; Thomas Gamblin and wife Sara of Perth Andover, N.B., Canada, Jessie Gamblin and partner Jeff Grant of Woodstock, N.B., Canada, and John McDougal and wife Angelica of Chandler, AZ, brothers and sisters, George McDougal and wife Leah, Patty Adams and husband Kevin, and Gerald McDougal, all of Caribou, his grandchildren; Benjamin, and Savannah Gamblin, Maverick Grant, Jack and Matthew McDougal, many nieces and nephews. Leo was predeceased by his father and a brother Martin McDougal on August 18, 2022.

Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, on Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 12PM until time of services which will be held at 2PM from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. George McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodland Cemetery.
