CARIBOU – Nancy A. Leavitt, 79, passed away September 2, 2019 at Caribou surrounded by her adoring family. She was born in Lincoln, August 3, 1940 the daughter of the late Earl and Ruth (Hansen) Kilbride. Nancy attended Lincoln schools and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. On April 12, 1958 she married the love of her life Louis Leavitt. She was employed at Meacon in Caribou for many years. Mrs. Leavitt was a longtime member of Gray Memorial United Methodist Church. Nancy will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband of 61 years, Louis of Caribou, are her children, Lou-Ann Milton of Raymond, Cindy Kinney of Caribou, Scott Leavitt of Fort Fairfield, and Danny Leavitt of Caribou, also 5 grandchildren, Nicole Cassidy, Kiley Leavitt, Jarod Milton, Brandon Milton, and Nicholas Leavitt, 8 very special great-grandchildren. Mrs. Leavitt was predeceased by one brother, Dana Kilbride, a grandson, Matthew Leavitt, and a great-grandson, Quinten Leavitt. Memorial services will be held 11am Saturday, September 14, 2019 from the Gray Memorial United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Timothy Wilcox officiating. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
