Lawrence James Searles

STOCKHOLM – Lawrence J. “Jimmy” Searles, 71, passed away December 15, 2020 at Caribou following a lengthy illness. He was born in Stockholm, June 2, 1949 the son of Floyd and Gertrude (Doucette) Searles. Jimmy was a graduate of Caribou High School, and worked at the Tri-Community landfill in the recycling department for many years. He will be lovingl y remembered by his family for his huge heart and caring personality. He is survived by two brothers, Robert Doucette of TX, Gerald Doucette of NC, and a sister, Carol Searles of Caribou. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a brother, Roger Searles, formerly of Alaska. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Woodland Cemetery.
