CARIBOU – Laura Lee Corbin, 67, passed away July 3, 2021 in Portland with her family by her side. She was born in Caribou, March 31, 1954 the daughter of Elbridge “Bud” and Mary Ann (Violette) McIntyre. Laura lived her life in Caribou, attending Caribou Schools and was a graduate of Caribou High School. She worked as a Receptionist for the Emergency Room at Cary Medical Center for 30 years. Laura is survived by her husband, Joseph Corbin, one son, Christopher Corbin, sisters, Joyce Shepherd and Betty Theriault, all of Caribou, sister, Nancy Beaulieu of Chapman, three grandchildren, Corrine Howlett, Christopher Jr. and Crissy Corbin, a son-in-law, Troy Howlett, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Mrs. Corbin was predeceased by her parents, a daughter, Wendy Howlett in 1998, and siblings, Ruth Cote, Carl “Sonny” McIntyre, and Philip McIntyre. Friends may visit with the family Saturday, July 10, 2021 at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, from 11:30 until time of service which will be held at 1:00pm from the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in the New Holy Rosary Cemetery.
