Caribou and New Sweden - Tristan Matthew Kinney “Buddy,”, 7. earned his Angel Wings on April 28, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at Bangor. He was born in Caribou August 24, 2011.
Tristan is survived by his twin sister Victoria, brothers Christian & Jacob McDougal, his paternal great grandparents Sharon and Donald Peters, his father Matthew Kinney, his mother Ally McDougal, paternal grandfather Jerry Kinney, maternal grandparents Angela & James Pelkey, Joe & Stacy McDougal, aunts Jessica Kinney, Bailee Kinney, Rebecca McDougal, and uncles Nathan Kinney, Joey McDougal. He was pre deceased by his paternal grandmother Susan Pelletier. Tristan was loved by many adoring cousins, extended family and friends.
Tristan was born an inspiration to all who were blessed to have known him. He was able to light up a room with his beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Tristan loved watching cartoons, listening to music, and watching movies with his sister. He loved all the doctors, nurses and medical staff who worked with him on a daily basis. Most of all, Tristan loved his sister Victoria, Nana and Grampy Peters and their love for him was unlimited. Their care, love, and comfort allowed him to live and bring light, to all privileged to have known him.
A service celebrating Tristan’s life will take place at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1 PM.
