Caribou-Karli Jo Adams, 33 passed away unexpectedly December 10, 2016 at Caribou. She was born in Presque Isle December 5, 1983, the daughter of Derek and Cindy (Kinney) Smith. Karli was a 2001 graduate of Caribou High School and attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle as well as Northern Maine Community College. She was employed as a CNA at Presque Isle Nursing Home and attended the First Baptist Church of Woodland. Surviving in addition to her husband, Matthew Adams, are her mother and stepfather Cindy and J P Levasseur, all of Caribou, her father Derek Smith of Mapleton, a son Karson Reidy of Caribou. Her brother Zachary Smith of Caribou.Grandparents; Ronald and Doris Smith of Yarmouth and Lantie Kinney of Caribou. Three Aunts; Sandy Caldwell, Joan Holmes and Nicole Wilke. Mother in law and father in law, Diana and Lonnie Adams of Caribou. Many cousins. Karli was predeceased by her grandfather Floyd Kinney. Private family services will be held at the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
