Julie A. Merchant

Caribou – Julie Ann Merchant, 66, died December 29, 2022 in her home with her husband and children by her side following a long illness. She was born in Colchester, Essex, England , November 3, 1956. Julie graduated from Limestone High School and was a member of the Veazie Congregational Church. She married Gilbert Merchant on May 19, 1979.  Julie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was a proud military brat and spouse.  Julie enjoyed teaching jewelry making classes in her free time, as well as crafting, knitting, diamond art, creating jewelry and spending time with her family and pets.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, Gilbert of Caribou, are her children, Peter Merchant of Bangor, Christina Wysocki and husband Shawn of Limestone, and Hollyjean Chappelle and husband Douglas of Old Town, and one brother, Michael Miesburger and wife Pam of Lakewood Ranch, FL, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
