Joyce L. Ramo

CARIBOU - Joyce L. Ramo, 90, passed away on January 26, 2022 at a health care facility in Houlton. She was born in Caribou, on December 16, 1931, the daughter of Stephen and Martha (Theriault) Ramo. She grew up in Fort Fairfield, and graduated in 1951, entering the United States Air Force the same year. Joyce had a special love of music and shared her piano talent at nursing homes as a volunteer. Much thanks to Madigan Estates Nursing Home Staff for their care and compassion shown to Joyce and the family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Stephen. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Joan Ramo, and a cousin, Margaret Kimball, both of Caribou; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Interment with military honors will be held in the spring at the Old Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, at a date and time to be announced.
